XIMB G2G - Bhubaneswar Chapter

The much awaited Bhubaneswar G2G was a huge success with more than 150 participants. The home town advantage was the presence of highly respected faculty like Prof.Latha Ravindran, Prof. G K Nayak, Prof.Ramana, Prof.Saveeta Mohanty, Prof.Ganesha and of course Prof.Govindarajan. The organising team led by Bhubaneswar Chapter President Pritish Gupta did a fabulous job in not only ensuring a massive turnout but also seeing that everything went off smoothly from the name stickers during entry to the beautiful XIMB coffee mug that was given to all alumni as they left. The location, food and drinks were perfect as was the ambience as alumni across so many batches interacted among each other and with the faculty members.  All the faculty members spoke a few words about their association with XIMB and the alumni community. Alumni like Bismaya Mohapatra and Srikumar Mishra also shared their thoughts. Post this, the dance floor came alive with the alumni letting their hair down and dancing like no one was watching. The success of the event can be gauged by the fact that though the event was scheduled to end by 11, it continued till nearly 1:00 AM when the last few alumni made their way home!
